My problem is with the Amazon ordering system in this gift card area. My mission was to order six gift cards with a total sum of $600. I very thoughtfully selected and added to my cart 5 amazon gift cards with an individual and original greeting message for each gift card. Then I selected the AMC Logo to complete my order, I ordered that card and went to checkout. I could not believe my eyes or my mind when I realized that by going to the AMC link I had vacated the Amazon site and lost all of my carefully crafted cards. My cart was empty and even a phone call for assistance did not recover the lost work I had put into this.
I am still amazed that Amazon would let me leave their site and lose the contents of my cart without any warning or provision for me to complete my Amazon purchase. This experience has done much to sour me on gift cards period. DAJ |
