    The EMU Women's "Bronte Hi" Suede Boot is lined with a unique micron 20 100% merino wool that's made with Australian merino wool only, not a blend! The wool lining offers the same insulation properties as sheepskin. As well as its sturdy suede leather outer. and cupped suede leather heel for extra fit and support.

    Excellent boots, durable & comfy!

    I bought these after doing some internet research on that style boots. In my opinion they are more durable, and comfy than the UGGS and at half the cost. They run a little bit smaller than UGGS, which is good since they only come in whole sizes,(UGGS run huge by the way). The only notable difference is that UGGS Sheepskin lining is more fluffy. The lining in EMU's that I bought are wool, which is just as insolating as sheepskin; just not as fluffy. Overall they are great boots!!

    I live in the midwest where it's been frigid all winter. Since my Emus have arrived, I have not taken them off! They are so warm! I can't imagine why anyone would spend double for Uggs.
    I have not yet worn them in snow, nor have I waterproofed them yet.

    Have these boots in three colors, sooo comfortable, and are less expensive and provide better support than U---.

    i am very pleased with this boot. it's very warm, rugged, and great quality. i didn't, however, buy this style to tramp around in deep snow and i wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. i make sure to spray it with suede protector so it doesn't get eaten by salt. all things being equal, i would've loved to have gotten a pair of uggs, but these emus are a great substitute. one other thing: these run big! i take an 8.5-9 regularly; my emus are an 8 and fit well. go down a size!

    I wear these boots with everything. They are so comfortable and actually have a little arch support. I love them. I ordered the tan ones but will be ordering the black ones too. I wear them to football games and around the house. They are well constructed and have not shed on me like other shearling boots tend to do. I am very pleased and even more pleased that they cost half what UGGS do. I ordered an 8 even though I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 and they are perfect.
